Inspiring Success Scholarship

The Inspiring Success scholarship is kindly supported by the Foundation for Future London and the kind donations of Loughborough University alumni. Applicants must have obtained their GCSE's or A-levels (or equivalent qualifications) from the East London growth boroughs of Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham or Waltham Forest. Applicants must currently be unemployed or underemployed. Underemployed is defined as earnings below the average median earnings for the Growth Borough in which they live (approximately £581.30 per week). Students must also be in possession of an offer (conditional or unconditional) to study a master's programme at Loughborough University London. The selection panel will be looking for high academic achievers, and those who are committed to contributing to their society on completion of their programme. The panel will also be looking for those who can clearly demonstrate a full understanding of the costs involved in postgraduate study and can demonstrate that they have the motivation and the initiative required to cover the costs associated with postgraduate study.
