Undergraduate Engineering Internships and Bursaries

Students must be enrolled on the Student Information System on a full-time BEng or MEng University of Lincoln course for the current academic year
Students must have successfully completed level 5 of the BEng or MEng
Eligibility to the internship has been approved by Siemens Energy.
Attendance whilst at University must not fall below 90 percent per term as recorded on the University's attendance management system.
Academic work must not fall below 2:2 level.
Students who leave voluntarily from the business within a two year period must repay the scholarship on a pro-rata basis.
Students who voluntarily choose not to accept a position on graduation must repay the scholarship.

Students who successfully complete Level 5 (the second year) of their degree programme can apply for a year-long paid internship with Siemens Energy, which would take place before their final year of study. A limited number of internships are available each year and places are allocated competitively. Level 6 scholarships (or Level 6 and Level 7 for MEng students) may be awarded to high-achieving students completing the internship programme. The financial package would consist of a payment each term throughout the duration of the bursary paid in three instalments.
