AIMTAC Scholarship for Musical Excellence

Criteria

In order to be considered for this award, the student must:

• Be enrolled in the Conservatory of Music, MacEwan University.
• Be registered for a minimum of 10 hours of private instruction in the current school year - this criterion can be waived for Fall Festival Scholarships.
• Exhibit a high degree of musical excellence and/or musical promise as adjudicated at the Spring Scholarship Competition (usually held in April) and the Fall Music Festival Competition (usually held in November).

If only one award is available, the recipient may be of any age, be of any musical discipline, and perform any style of music.
If more than one award is available, age categories, musical discipline or style of music may be used as criteria to determine multiple award recipients. These added criteria will be determined by February 1st and August 1st of each year through consultation with the representative of AIMTAC and the Manager, Conservatory of Music.
