Cathy Branton Memorial Award

This award was established to honour Cathy Branton's lifelong dedication and commitment to children and youth, and to continue her legacy of encouraging them to grow and succeed.

Criteria

To be eligible for this award, the student must be:

• In good academic standing
• Enrolled full-time in one of the following programs:
  • Bachelor of Child and Youth Care
  • Early Learning and Child Care
  • Special Needs Educational Assistant
  • Bachelor of Social Work or Social Work Diploma
• Preference given to a student who submits proof of volunteering with children and youth
• Preference given to an alumni of the Boys & Girls Club of Whitecourt

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
