Cross Cultural Humanitarian Award

To be considered for this award, students must:

• Be enrolled in either the Faculty of Health & Community Studies OR Faculty of Nursing and enrolled in one of the following courses:
  • HLST 400 (Global Health Perspectives) OR
  • CYCW 303 (Advanced Child and Youth Care Practice II OR
  • Any other course approved by the Faculty of Health & Communication Studies and the Faculty of Nursing that involves student travel for humanitarian purposes
• Be in good academic standing and have paid their course tuition
• Be eligible to take part in the travel/project component of the course
• Comply with all rules and regulations of MacEwan University and
• Describe how this course and international travel opportunity will develop their global understanding of their profession, their role as a global citizen, and benefit their future career goals.

Disbursement Criteria

• Have paid their course tuition
• Must be in good academic standing
• Must be enrolled full-time
