Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation Hockey Program Award - Female Student

In order to be considered, the student must:

• be listed on the official roster of the MacEwan University Griffin Athletics Men's or Women's Hockey team for the given academic year
• have demonstrated leadership abilities, and be involved in the community
• possess personal qualities such as dedication, commitment and strength of character and
• be nominated by his/her coach.

One award will be given to a male student and one award to a female student.

Preference will be given to supporting deserving Griffin Hockey athletes who face challenges balancing their financial obligations with their academic and athletic schedule.

Disbursement Criteria

For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
