Jilly Box Award

1) Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person or international student 2) Recipient will self-identify as a racialized person (a racialized person is a person who identifies as non-white) 3) Registered in full-time course load (minimum of 9 credits / 60% course load or 6 credits / 40% course load students with a permanent disability) in the first semester of any university transfer, degree, diploma or certificate program at any campus of Okanagan College 4) Applicants will submit a written statement describing what motivated them to pursue a post-secondary education and describing any barriers or challenges they have overcome 5) Selection of recipients will be based on a combination of their written statement and financial need, with equal emphasis 6) Recipient will be in good standing
