Nelson Science Scholarship (School-Leaver Scholarship)

Applicants must not have been enrolled in a degree programme at any tertiary institute. Participation in STAR courses, community education courses offered by tertiary institutions, orientation, or general interest programmes run by tertiary institutions for secondary school students does not preclude application for the Nelson Science Scholarship.

Recipients must have been enrolled at Te Kura Tamatāne o Whakatū Nelson College for not less than two years.

Recipients must be at least 16 years old on 1 March of the year of tenure.

Tenure: Up to four years

Number Available Annually: At least two
