Centre for Health Service Studies ARC PhD Studentship in Co-production

The studentship will cover tuition fees at the standard postgraduate Home rate (£4,596 for 2022/23) rate plus an annual maintenance stipend of £16,062 per annum (in line with the UKRI rate for 2022). There is an annual Research Training Support allowance of £750 to cover conference attendance, training courses, equipment and books. We welcome applications from a prospective doctoral student interested in co-production, particularly understanding how co-production of health & well-being can benefit health and care services. We particularly welcome clear and succinct proposals utilising appropriate methodology that address under-researched areas or populations.

The studentship opportunity is open to all candidates including those with professional practice experience in public health. Applicants will have completed a health-related postgraduate training course at Master's level equivalent to merit or distinction with a substantial research training component, which must include training in quantitative data analysis skills.

A combination of qualifications and/or experience that is equivalent to a relevant UK degree may also be accepted.

The University of Kent, in collaboration with the NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Kent, Surrey, Sussex (ARC KSS) are offering this PhD studentship in a 3-year full-time or 5 years part-time capacity based in the Centre for Health Services Studies, at the University of Kent, commencing in October 2022 or January 2023.
