Melbourne Humanitarian Access Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship, you need to:

Undergraduate applicants

• be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia and either:

  have applied for or hold a temporary Australian humanitarian visa or
  have applied for a permanent Australian humanitarian visa

  have completed Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia
  have applied for a University of Melbourne undergraduate course via VTAC for commencement in the year following completion of Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate
  satisfy the course prerequisites and have achieved at least the minimum ATAR score for the University of Melbourne course
  not have undertaken any tertiary studies (excluding extension studies completed as part of a Year 12 program).

Graduate applicants

• be a citizen of a country other than Australia and New Zealand and not a permanent resident of Australia and either:

  have applied for or hold a temporary Australian humanitarian visa or
  have applied for a permanent Australian humanitarian visa

  have applied for a University of Melbourne graduate degree by coursework
  satisfy the course prerequisites and have achieved at least the minimum entry score for the University of Melbourne course
