Society of Edmonton Demographers Scholarship for PhD Students in Population Research

Nominee must be entering, or continuing in doctoral program
Nominee's major field of study and research must be demography
Awarded on the basis of academic merit
Awarded on the basis of research potential
Preference will be given to doctoral students in the Department of Sociology
If there is no eligible nominee in Sociology it may be offered to FT student in another doctoral program whose major field of study & research is demography if no suitable nominee is found the scholarship will not be awarded
Open to Canadian citizens.
Open to permanent residents.
Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
