Nominee must have completed at least one year of coursework and research toward a PhD degree
Nominee must have high academic standing
Nominee must have a well defined thesis research
Recipients may apply in open competition to hold the scholarship in subsequent years
Open to Canadian citizens.
Open to permanent residents.
Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs. Open to full time registered students only
This endowment funds two scholarships each year - one master's scholarship and one doctoral scholarship
