Awarded to a nominee whose research, scholarship, or creative work is judged to be a most outstanding contribution to our understanding, appreciation or amelioration of our earthly environment
If no suitable candidate is available in any given year, the scholarship will not be awarded
This award is paid out in September

Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
