Nominee must show an active and ongoing interest in the fields of sexual health or sexual education
Selection based on academic accomplishment

Examples of ongoing interest in the field can be evidenced by participation in SAR or similar professional conferences, taking courses in sexuality, scholarly or outreach activity in the field of study, etc.
