Preference first given to students who are graduates of Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro
Preference given to students who are not holding more than CAN $15,000 in scholarships and awards funding during the tenure of the award
Selection based on academic achievement
Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
