Nominee must be continuing studies at the University of Alberta
Nominee must be specializing in the field of applied fisheries ecology and management
Nominee must demonstrate scholastic excellence
Nominee must demonstrate an outstanding potential for a professional career in the discipline
Nominee must demonstrate a broad range of interests in recreational and other academic pursuits
In odd-numbered years, preference will be given to a student who previously attended the University of British Columbia or who previously resided in B.C.
This award is payable in September
