Angela Orton Women's Basketball Athletic Scholarships [E-I1113]

This award was established to honour longtime Gryphon Women's Basketball Coach and Athletics Administrator Angela Orton and to support the She's Got Game Movement at the University of Guelph with the goal of developing strong female student-athlete leaders in our community. The recipient will be selected based upon extraordinary athletic and leadership qualities. Coaches will nominate students to the Athletic Awards Committee.

Entering student-athlete who is a member of the Gryphon women varsity basketball team with a minimum 80% admission average or a current member of the Gryphon women's basketball varsity team who is registered in any undergraduate program and who has achieved a minimum 70% average or equivalent during the previous academic year as a student-athlete. Preference will be given to athletes who are participating in the Gryphon Leadership Academy.
