Ram and Lekha Tumkur Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Award description:

This scholarship has been established by Dr. and Mrs. Nagraj Tumkur in memory of their children: Ram Mohan and Chitralekha, who were killed in the Air-India flight 182 that crashed in June 1985 with no survivors. It will be awarded annually, if a suitable candidate exists, for postgraduate study leading to a Master of Science degree in any field of biology. The recipient will be an M.Sc. candidate in the Department of Biology, University of Waterloo.
