Eligibility & selection criteria:

full-time graduate students registered in a Master's or Doctoral program in Faculty of Engineering who are studying in an area directly related to improving overall automotive safety.
selection to be based on demonstrated academic excellence. Selection will be made by a committee comprised of the Associate Dean, Research and External Partnerships, Faculty of Engineering, Chair of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering and the Executive Director of WatCAR or designate

Award description:

Awards, valued at CAN $10,000 for PhD students and CAN $5,000 for Master's students, will be awarded annually to full-time graduate students enrolled in a Master's or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering who are studying in an area of Automotive Safety. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum 80%).
