Huawei Graduate Entrance Award in Electrical & Computer Engineering

Eligibility & selection criteria:

entrance scholarship for outstanding applicants in ECE who are entering a full-time Master's or Doctoral program in the area of information and communications technologies or the Internet of Things in the Faculty of Engineering
selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum 80% cumulative average in previously completed post-secondary degree) with a research focus on the development of technologies or the application of these technologies to solving important societal programs

Award description:

Up to five entrance scholarships valued at CAN $5,000 each will be awarded annually to outstanding applicants who are entering a full-time Master's or Doctoral program in Electrical & Computer Engineering in the area of information and communications technologies or the Internet of Things in the Faculty of Engineering at Waterloo. The graduate committee in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) will identify candidates and select recipients each February/March based on their applications for admission. This fund is made possible by a generous donation from Huawei Canada.
