Pella Awards

Eligibility & selection criteria:

Full-time undergraduate students enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four or graduate students registered in the master's program in the School of Architecture in the Faculty of Engineering.
Selection to be based on the review of a project that demonstrates excellence in sustainable design, and that exemplifies careful consideration of materials, details, placement, and orientation of fenestration.
Students are eligible to receive this award multiple times.
The School of Architecture will advertise the award and select recipients normally each Spring.

Award description:

Several awards will be presented annually to full-time undergraduate students in Year Two, Three, or Four and/or master's students in the School of Architecture. Selection is based on submission and review of a project that demonstrates excellence in sustainable design, and that exemplifies careful consideration of materials, details, placement, and orientation of fenestration. First place will be awarded CAN $3,000, second place CAN $2,000, and third place CAN $1,000. This fund is made possible by a donation from Pella to support student success and innovation in fenestration.
