Aranmore Catholic College is a co-educational school for Years 7-12. It was founded in 1903 by two Sisters of Mercy. From the inception, the college has always welcomed new migrants to Australia. The diversity of it's student population is even remarkable. Aranmore Catholic is a place of opportunity for all students. The college endeavors to cater for students from all backgrounds and abilities. It is an entirely welcoming community and believes that students are able to provide an all-round education for students.
The College provides a strong educational foundation for all the students both academically, physically and spiritually. Students in Years 7, 8 & 9 receive a general education across all of the Learning Areas. The emphasis is on building general skills and for preparing students for Senior School. Students in the Senior School are being prepared for leaving school. They can choose courses that lead directly to University entrance, TAFE or employment. Year 10 introduces students to Senior School where they can sample courses available in Years 11 and 12 to demonstrate their ability and to make informed choices for the continuation of senior studies into those years.
Aranmore Catholic is located in Leederville, just off vibrant Oxford Street, a mere 3 kilometres from the Perth C.B.D. The students at the college enjoy a first class education, underpinned by traditional values, in a safe, supportive environment.
