Our school caters for students from Pre Prep to Year 6. We have a student enrolment of approximately 800. The school also offers a high standard of 'before and after school hours' care and vacation care.
The quality reputation our school enjoys has been achieved through the hard work and diligence of our staff members, both in the classrooms and administration office. Based on the belief that all students can learn, the staff of Ashmore State School accepts the responsibility to teach all students, regardless of differences, the fundamental skills required for success in the 21st century. We know that teachers and their teaching practice have the greatest potential to influence student achievements. Therefore our teachers are committed to engagement in professional development to continually increase their knowledge base. They develop coherent and rigorous planning of teaching and learning experiences aligned to the Department of Education and Training Queensland Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework (QCARF) coupled with a focus on English, Maths and Science units based on the National Curriculum framework.
