Champlain College Saint-Lambert is a public English language cégep located on the South Shore of Montreal within a short 10-minute walk from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke Métro station. We offer both two-year pre-university and three-year career programs.
There are approximately 3,000 students attending Champlain College Saint-Lambert. Its students come from diverse cultures and speak a variety of languages, giving the college a friendly and multicultural environment where you will meet new people and live new experiences.
At Champlain College Saint-Lambert college’s size is its strength. The small classes and labs mean that its teachers can take the time to get to know each student and give them personal attention and feedback. Also, students have easy access to a variety of academic support services, such as computers, counselling, academic advising and library services to name a few.
All students have the opportunity to participate in any of the multitude of on-campus student clubs, and activities that Champlain College Saint-Lambert has to offer. Participation is an excellent way for students to use their talents and expand social network. The Champlain Student Association (CSA) is responsible for funding student clubs, groups and activities.
The CSA also organizes many events each year including Welcome Week, Food Fest, Guest Comedians, Carnival Week, Hypnotists, magicians, BBQ’s and the Multicultural Show. Many of these activities are planned and run by the Activities Committee which is entirely composed of student volunteers.
Champlain College Saint-Lambert has a number of athletic and recreational programs to keep students physically active while giving them the opportunity to meet new people, excel in a sport and have fun. The College offers an extensive intramural and intercollegiate sports program, as well as a variety of sports and activities in which students can participate.
Intramural Sports Program offers all students the opportunity to participate in both indoor and outdoor sports and activities in an enjoyable environment while promoting a sense of fair play and team work. Campus recreation has a variety of events for everyone. Go-karting, Paintball, Movie nights, Pool Tournaments, and a Ski Trip, students will have the best of their campus life experience.
