Confederation College has been serving the residents of northwestern Ontario since 1967, addressing the educational needs of learners across a 550,000-square-kilometre catchment area. Located in the heart of Thunder Bay, Ontario, the college is a culturally diverse institution that provides education and training to approximately 6,500 full-time and part-time students each year.
The college offers more than 150 diploma, certificate, apprenticeship, and academic upgrading programs. With experienced instructors, smaller class sizes, and an engaging learning environment, Confederation College delivers practical, hands-on education designed to equip students with the skills and confidence needed for future success.
In addition to full-time studies, Confederation College provides extensive Continuing Education options, including evening classes, online learning, distance education, and a wide selection of credit and non-credit courses.
The institution is also home to the Aviation Centre of Excellence, a modern 59,000-square-foot facility located at the Thunder Bay International Airport. This centre features two large hangars, classrooms, shops, and laboratories dedicated to three aviation programs.
