It is government funded which means the school can offer some fee free courses. The school offers brand new qualifications over Levels 3, 4 and 5 on the NZQA Framework. The students have a choice of two international exams, both of which are highly recognized throughout the industry. Tuition of both syllabuses will depend on the course chosen to study. This will encourage students to personally select examinations to enhance their chosen careers.

The School was started in 1999 with a single campus in Albany. This campus has modernized and moved twice. Growing to meet demand it now occupies a stunning purpose built facility in Triton Drive, Albany.
