The Leeds International Study Centre works in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University to teach students the language, study and research skills they need to succeed in their degree and career. Here students will live and learn with students from around the world, in a lively city that has it all.
ISC offers two International Foundation Year subject routes, designed to prepare students to start an undergraduate degree at Leeds Beckett University in either Business, Law and Social Studies or Science, Engineering and Computing.
The International Study Centre is a safe and supportive place where students can feel at home and make new friends. They have experienced and friendly teachers who will monitor students’ progress closely to keep them on track. Students will study in small classes with other students, which means they can get more individual attention from their tutors and ask plenty of questions. Also, in case a student needs an extra support, their personal tutor will be able to help them with their academic studies and answer any other questions they may have.
The Leeds International Study Centre is located at the world-famous Global East Stand, Emerald Headingley Stadium, just a short walk from Leeds Beckett’s vibrant Headingley Campus. The location benefits from great transport links, with a regular bus service to and from Leeds city centre, and from Headingley Campus to the Emerald Headingley Stadium during term time. Facilities include cutting-edge learning and social spaces with modern technology and a café where students can relax or study.
