Teesside University International Study Centre offers pathway programmes to help students prepare for life at Teesside University. Pathway programmes at Teesside University International Study Centre are delivered by Study Group, a global leader in preparing international students for academic success. Students here will develop the key academic skills and English language requirements to achieve their goals within the UK education system. Also, they will develop these skills within a small, friendly, supportive community of other international students, so that they will feel at home at Teesside University from day one.
ISC offer an integrated CAS (iCAS) so students can study for their pathway programme and university degree with only one visa application. This will save students both time and money, and it means there is no requirement for them to return home between their programmes if they don’t want to. When student enrol on an undergraduate programme at Teesside University after completing the International Year One, they will also benefit from Teesside University Advance scheme. This scheme provides digital equipment to aid students in their degree-level learning. They will receive a pre-installed Apple iPad and keyboard, credit for learning materials, and lecture-capture technology (note that eligibility criteria apply).
Teesside University International Study Centre is based on the Teesside University Campus. This town campus is located in the heart of Middlesbrough, a large, friendly town in the north-east of England. Teesside is a single-site campus, meaning that everything is located within walking distance in one safe location.
