University Senior College is an independent secondary school with a strong learning culture driven by passionate and inspirational teachers. Founded in 2002, it is one of the most significant feeder schools to the university sector in South Australia. USC is an adult learning environment for years 10 to 12 students that has access to the University of Adelaide's facilities.
The institution is committed to preparing students to bridge the transition between secondary and tertiary study. Its students come from very diverse backgrounds with around 80 different private and public schools providing its local intake and an international intake of students from China, Korea, Vietnam and Japan. At University Senior College, students will be participating in a unique and dynamic educational experience that will enable students to maximize their chance of academic success. Students will learn in an environment where they are respected and provided with encouragement and guidance in final years of school.
University Senior College aims to promote a cooperative environment that will foster the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes, self-reliance and a sense of self-worth that will enable students to maximize their personal potential. It will teach students the skills, knowledge and personal strategies to approach their studies in a motivated and self-directed way.
