Students will also have access to additional resources available at the International Study Centre.
ISC specialist staff will introduce students to the style of teaching they will experience when they begin their degree. Students will take part in tutorials, seminars, group discussions and larger lectures. Along that student will receive specialist support during their studies, as well as regular assessments to monitor their progress, including examinations and coursework. Tutorial sessions will give students the opportunity to get individual feedback from their tutor and discuss anything that's worrying them.
The International Study Centre offers a variety of employability-focused activities that will give students a head start in their future career, called as CareerAhead. They will help students become a highly skilled, self-aware, confident and employable graduate. Students will develop key employability skills, such as teamwork, problem solving and communication. They will also be familiar with career opportunities and the world of work. Their tutors will assess strengths and suggest areas for improvement, creating a personal development plan to help students set goals for their future success.
