Established in 1964, Wimbledon School of English is one of the oldest English language schools in the UK. It offers a wide range of general and academic courses to improve English for work, exam preparation, future studies or just for pleasure. The school has a wide range of excellent facilities, including smart technology in all classrooms, fully-equipped multimedia self-access study centre, large and comfortable common room with widescreen TV, and film library with more than 300 English language films to borrow.
WSE provides a modern, multi-cultural learning environment that reflects the use of the English language internationally. It organizes exciting and inclusive social programmes and activities that includes Zumba and salsa classes, quiz and games nights, film screenings, and theatre and musical trips. The School also organizes group sports every week, such as tennis, football and table tennis.
Located in a beautiful Edwardian building, WSE combines traditional British architecture with modern facilities. It also have a large garden at the rear of the building, which students can enjoy year round.
