Confederation College has been serving the residents of northwestern Ontario since 1967, addressing the educational needs of learners across a 550,000-square-kilometre catchment area. Located in the heart of Thunder Bay, Ontario, the college is a culturally diverse institution that provides education and training to approximately 6,500 full-time and part-time students each year. The college offers more than 150 diploma, certificate, apprenticeship, and academic upgrading programs. In addition to full-time studies, Confederation College provides extensive Continuing Education options, including evening classes, online learning, distance education, and a wide selection of credit and non-credit courses. The institution is also home to the Aviation Centre of Excellence, a modern 59,000-square-foot facility located at the Thunder Bay International Airport. This centre features two large hangars, classrooms, shops, and laboratories dedicated to three aviation programs.
